A Green Bricklin Appears

Yesterday I am showing Opponaut Zippy my shiny new rocker panel paint...when I look up and go “wait a second is that a Bricklin”....and there indeed was a Bricklin at the stop sign nearest to us.

It then parked next to the Delorean. :) This brings the number of Bricklin’s I’ve spotted in the last 20 years to a grand total of 1.

I have seen a Bricklin once, that I can recall. I was driving somewhere, and in moderately packed traffic I looked into the right lane and BAM. The WTFs had were intense. It was a white one, sadly, not one of the wacky colors.

Craze. I was able to identify it fairly easily even when we saw it at the stop sign a while away, but seeing one in everyday traffic would have thrown me for a loop too!

Apparently August 22nd around here there is a Delorean/Bricklin show. If I can, I am going to go. #gullwinglyfe

Bricklin’s used to be pretty common around Halifax, NS in the summers when I was a kid. Now I ususally see one a year maybe two if I am lucky.

This is the only Bricklin I have ever seen. It was in Ottawa.
